ABOUT MOTHER OF CIVILIZATION BIRTH SERVICES
Our Aim: To create an atmosphere where the birthing mother feels safe, informed, respected, empowered and has a voice during prenatal and maternal care.
Our Purpose: To reduce disparities and maternal health inequities among black and brown childbearing women through education and knowledge of self. To make known to the communities that birth is sacred, spiritual, and should be respected.
Our Vision: Black childbearing women will birth with freedom, justice and equality in their own right and we will reduce the disparities among these women in their
communities.
United Black Birth Collective (UBBC) is committed to protecting the sanctity of black life one at a time. We are a collective of mothers, birth workers and healers on a mission to protect the sanctity of black life one at a time. We realize that our community needs more black birth workers to address inequities and health disparities.
